As a Materials Assistant at Marymount Hospital, you are responsible for the ongoing maintenance of vendor relationships. In this role, your daily tasks may include receiving and processing shipments, assisting with internal deliveries, completing storeroom inventory assessments and more. Ultimately, your efforts are vital to the overall organization and functioning of the hospital system, allowing you to indirectly improve the lives of patients, caregivers and the community every day.
A caregiver in this position works days from 6:00AM – 2:30PM or 7:00AM – 3:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Maintain proper, appropriate, professional and ethical relationships with vendor representatives.
- Conduct business according to established principles and guidelines.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- High School Diploma/GED
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Inventory experience
- Knowledge of medical supplies and Oracle software

Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
- May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
- Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
- Must have own transportation due to travel to multiple sites.
