We’re excited to announce the opening of the new 150,000-square-foot Jeffrey and Patricia Cole Building at Cole Eye Institute. This expansion supports an exponential growth in our services. We’re helping more people than ever at Cole Eye Institute — with more than 400,000 outpatient visits and 21,000 surgeries. People in our care also have access to more than 50 clinical trials. We’ve added three procedure rooms, eight operating rooms and 60 outpatient exam rooms with access to imaging technology. We also have a new, dedicated space for research and education.
The Director role leads clinical areas with medium complexity as determined by the Enterprise Chief of Staff Office for complexity guidelines and factors. In this role, you will focus your time and effort on the following key areas: provider management, volume, access, and productivity; service line financial performance at the patient encounter level; service line strategy and growth; quality improvement and patient experience.
A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—5:00pm. You will work in our Main Campus but travel as needed to our other sites.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Manage and monitor provider volume, access, and productivity.

Collaborate with physician and APP leadership to optimize provider productivity.

Maintain a productive provider schedule (weekly or inpatient service).

Manage provider template design, decision tree and provider fill rates (outpatient institutes).

Lead team responsible for provider recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.

Manage provider allocation to exam room, OR, and procedure blocks provided by market teams and partner with market to support facility space utilization.

Partner with ambulatory operations for inbound and outbound patient scheduling (outpatient institutes).

Partner with Ambulatory Operations and Access Team to ensure scheduling algorithms and standard work are optimized routinely (outpatient institutes).

Evaluate profitability of services at each location to inform appropriate site of service.

Consult market and shared services on opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost reduction opportunities.

Execute strategic growth plans, provider recruitment, and programmatic development according to the long-term strategic plan. Implements new practice models, adoption of new technology and expansion of novel clinical services within a market.

Partner with all Quality, Patient Safety and Experience (QPSE) teams to execute objectives and key results.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field

5 years of progressively responsible experience including supervisory experience

Excellent analytical skills and business acumen
-
Strong verbal and written communication
-
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Can work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Master's Degree preferred and may offset 2 years of the experience requirement

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $48.99
Maximum hourly: $74.71
