Cleveland Clinic Florida’s Integrated Hospital Care Institute is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and visionary physician leader to serve as Division Chair, Anesthesiology. This exceptional leadership role offers the opportunity to lead anesthesiology services across Cleveland Clinic Florida’s expanding market, including five hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and outpatient procedural locations throughout South Florida, the Treasure Coast and future expansion in Palm Beach County.

This position will also serve as Serve as Site Director for Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital, providing strategic and operational leadership for anesthesiology services at Cleveland Clinic Florida’s flagship quaternary care campus. Weston Hospital is home to complex surgical programs including heart, lung, and liver transplantation, advanced cardiac and vascular surgery, neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and other high-acuity specialty services.

The Division Chair will report to the Enterprise Chair of Anesthesiology in the Integrated Hospital Care Institute (IHI) with a dotted line to the Vice Chief of the IHI, Florida Market. The Division Chair will play an integral role in shaping the academic mission by fostering faculty development, supporting clinical research, expanding graduate medical education where applicable, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care across all sites.

  • Provide vision, leadership, and oversight for the Division of Anesthesiology across Cleveland Clinic Florida.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Florida.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a department, division, service line, or large physician practice.
  • Strong record of clinical excellence, physician engagement, and operational leadership.
  • Academic accomplishments and scholarly activity are welcomed.
  • Excellent communication, team-building, and relationship-management skills.
